Series Summary
The perception that many people may have is Christianity speaks about matters of the heart, spirit and soul, or where we go when we die, but has little to say about the mind. Yet, Jesus told us to “Love the Lord your God with all your …. mind.” (Matthew 22:37). For Jesus, the mind is not a peripheral issue; instead, it’s central to our relationship with God and the Christian life. What our minds think, dwell on, and meditate on is pivotal in our relationship with God and is spoken about throughout Scriptures. Scriptures tell us that our thoughts are so powerful that they can actually shape us.
