Our consumer-driven society encourages an unrelenting desire for more money and thrives on the unrelenting anxiousness around finances. There is a propensity in the heart of man to be obsessed about money, either out of greed or out of fear or both. Greed blinds and fear cripples! Freedom is found in submission to Jesus as our master and turning away from the slave-driver of money. Living under the authority of Jesus The King brings peace and contentment. Being devoted to Jesus requires radical repentance.
